Was Darwin Wrong?

Darwin's theory of evolution has undergone continuous refinement and expansion since it was first proposed in the 19th century. While the basic tenets of Darwin's theory, such as natural selection and common descent, remain widely accepted, advancements in genetics, paleontology, and other fields have led to a deeper understanding of the evolutionary process. Darwin could not have known about DNA or the intricacies of genetic inheritance, but his theory has been strengthened by the discovery of genetic variation and the mechanisms of heredity. Today, Darwin's theory of evolution is not considered wrong but rather as a foundation upon which modern evolutionary biology is built, accommodating new knowledge and insights while retaining its core principles.
