The Field of Blood War for Aleppo #2, also known as the Battle of Aleppo, was a bloody and brutal conflict that took place from 2012 to 2016 in the Syrian city of Aleppo. The battle was fought between the Syrian government forces, supported by Russia and Iran, and the Syrian opposition forces, supported by Turkey and the United States. The battle resulted in the destruction of much of the city and the displacement of over 2 million people. The Syrian government eventually declared victory in Aleppo in December 2016, but the city remains in ruins and the conflict continues to simmer.
