My Parents Are Cousins

My parents are cousins, which is a bit of an uncommon situation. Growing up, I was never fully aware of their relationship until we had family gatherings or relatives visited from out of town. It always made for interesting conversations and often left people in disbelief at the unusual combination of family members. Though it is not typical, my parents have been happily married for over 25 years and I wouldn't trade them for anyone else!
