Vijayanagara - The Last Emperors of South India

During the 16th century, the Vijayanagara Empire faced a series of challenges that ultimately led to its decline and eventual fall. These challenges included the rise of powerful regional kingdoms such as the Deccan Sultanates, the growing influence of European traders, and a series of natural disasters and famines. Despite these challenges, the Vijayanagara emperors fought valiantly to defend their empire, and their legacy continues to inspire modern-day Indians. The last emperor of Vijayanagara, Tirumala Deva Raya, died in 1578, and the empire was conquered by the Deccan Sultanates soon after.
