In a quaint antique shop, a mother unknowingly purchases a Good Guy doll for her young son, Andy Barclay. Unbeknownst to them, the doll is possessed by the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray, who uses voodoo to transfer his consciousness into the doll's plastic body. As Andy grows attached to Chucky, a series of horrifying events unfolds, leaving a trail of blood and terror. Chucky, with his twisted sense of humor and relentless bloodlust, wreaks havoc on anyone who stands in his way, while Andy and those around him desperately try to survive the wrath of the possessed doll.
